Our traditional Brazilian style hammocks are woven from pure cotton to make a luxuriously thick and robust cloth that is extremely soft and comfortable to lie in and is 100% natural. Cotton Hammocks fill the gap between an eye-catching Mexican Hammock and our very practical Well Hung Travel Hammocks. They are the kind of hammocks that most people immediately think of when picturing a typical hammock. Our cotton Brazilian type hammocks are ideal for those who prefer something beautiful, comfortable and traditional but don’t want too much maintenance.

We have standard Brazilian Hammocks in 5 colours, shown above. They are available with or without a tassled fringe. The sleeping area is 2m long by 1.2m wide. They weigh around 1.5kg and have their own matching 'rucksack' so, as with all Well Hung Hammocks, they are very portable. This hammock makes an ideal gift as it is beautiful, simple, generously-sized yet still affordable.

This hammock can be hung from trees and posts etc using our simple rope and hook system. It also fits on our standard hammock frame or can be easily hung on wall hooks or masonry hooks, all of which are available separately from us.
